2-2 on the night as Inter Milan knock out Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate.
Bayern Munich faced a challenging situation in the second leg of the Champions League after losing 2-1 at the Allianz Arena. However, it was Inter Milan who progressed after a 2-2 draw at the San Siro, allowing them to advance on aggregate.

Harry Kane opened the scoring for Bayern in the 52nd minute, giving them hope in the tie, but Inter quickly responded with a quickfire double from Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard, putting them in a strong position.

Bayern Munich managed to score again with a fantastic header from Eric Dier, applying pressure on Inter. However, it wasn't enough for Bayern and Inter will now face Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

What happened in the Match?
The first chance of the match fell to the home side when Henrikh Mkhitaryan did well to get on the end of the pass but his shot was well blocked in the 2nd minute.

Straight down the other end Michael Olise missed a great chance when his header went well over the bar.

The Bayern pressure continued, Thomas Muller found space inside the box but his shot was well saved by Yann Sommer.

Francesco Acerbi was close to putting Inter further ahead in the tie but his shot was narrowly wide of the post after a free kick routine.

Sommer's outstanding first half continued, when he brilliantly saved Leroy Sane's powerful volley inside the penalty area.

Both teams couldn't find the back of the net in the first half so was goaless going into half time.

Second half
Inter started the second half well, with Marcus Thuram forces a save from Jonas Urbig on 48 minutes.

Federico Di Marco thought it was his moment when he raced into the box with just the keeper to beat but Jonas Urbig again pulls off a brilliant save to keep Bayern in the tie.

Then stepped up England Captain, Harry Kane who brilliantly rifled his shot into the bottom left hand corner to give Bayern Munich the lead and level the aggregate.

Bayern had the chance to go ahead in the tie after a brilliant interchange play between Michael Olise and Thomas Muller but his effort went just over the bar.

World Cup winner, Lautaro Martinez , did what he does best, being in the right place at the right time to divert Federico Di Marco's cross past Jonas Urbig to put Inter back ahead in the tie.
Shortly afterwards, Inter found themselves in dreamland when former Bayern Munich player Benjamin Pavard returned to haunt his old team by heading the ball into the net. This goal put Inter in the lead for the evening and gave them a two-goal advantage on aggregate.

Michael Olise was again causing problems of the Inter defence but his shot was brilliantly blocked.

Former Tottenham man, Eric Dier produced a wonderful header to put his team back in the tie and give Bayern some hope.

Bayern pushed and pushed when Harry Kane's late effort was smashed just over the ball after a goalmouth scramble.

Thomas Muller beat his man in the air but his header fell straight into the arms of Yan Sommer.
However, in the 39 European games where Liverpool have won their first away fixture they have never been beaten in the second leg at home. This means that PSG will have to break history in order to go through.

Or will it be 40 unbeaten for Liverpool?

Liverpool will face a formidable front three from Paris however, as their youngest forward Bradley Barcola, who is 22 years of age has so far scored 13 goals and 7 assists in his first season as a regular starter for the French Capitals.

January signing Khchiva Kvaratskhelia from Napoli to PSG has boosted the French capitals attack massively and was the player in blue in the previous fixture to score but was ruled out due to the smallest of margins.

Another shining star is one of France's very own, Ousmane Dembele who's goal scoring record this season speaks for itself with an impressive 20 goals in 23 matches in Ligue 1. Also scoring 6 in 9 in the champions league he is PSG's top scorer in both competitions.

Dembele's opposing player however is none other than Mohamed Salah. with only 3 goals in 8 appearances in the champions league the 'Egyptian King' has not been on his usual high standards.

The final chance of the game fell to Kingsley Coman deep into injury time but his volley flew millimeters over the bar.

Slavko Vinic, the referee on the night, looked at his watch and blew the full time whistle sending Inter into the Semi Finals and Bayern Munich out.
Most Football fans thought their prolific front three of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr would be the reason they would finally lift the champions league and let Paris be the Champions of Europe.

However in both seasons that this trio was PSG's main attack they did not manage to make it past the round of 16. The exact stage they are currently on track to exit Europe's biggest football competition in club football.

Can the youngsters of Dembele,Kvaratskhelia and Barcola do what they could
